acai berries

Where has the time gone? Summer is almost gone. I've started lap swimming and acai berrie drink but will change to the tablets that are freeze dried. Working hard to lose the wieght around my middle. Stomach fat actually. It is coming off but slow. I'm almost eating no meat. Mostly veggies and fruit. I do feel better. Off of sugar totally along with white processed foods. We visited a health food store a couple of blocks from the campground and it was a wow. Were going back for lunch Friday. I can hardly wait. I tried boc choy and loved it. Have added it to almost everything eat.

Sisters

Sisters what a blessing. Nothing like the love of a sister. The laughter of a sister. Just spent three great days with two sisters, one from VA and one from KS. We rented a room, hot tubbed,swam, played cards, played tourist, shopped and had good food. I love my family. I have to say its good to be home with my husband two dogs. What a greeting. All three were so happy to see me. Especially the dogs. Back to work tomorrow. The campground looks to good with the flags out. I love the red, white, blue. I did go to the Y today. Have to lose weight. Will start lap swimming after my two work days. OK no more bread, cheese, ice creme anything yummmy has to go. I don't want to grow old and be fat. I have to grow old but not fat. I'm so happy everytime I talk to my son. He has started bee keeping and I think it will be his mssion in life. He loves the bees, likes every part of beekeeping, bee removal, teaching the public. Hang in their son.

Today

What a glorious day in Wichita Ks. We are working in the campground and meeting lots of great peope from all over the USA along with travelers from other countries. A great retirement job. We have worked in Ind., Ky, Me,Va,Ks and South Tx. Were known as workampers. More on the job later. Please join me for my receipes and fun days. We have two dogs a beagles and mixed terrier. They are wonderful companions although Blitz isn't the best traveler. Gets bored in the pickup quickly. Can't give him a hand held game or deck of cards, darn it. I have a wonderful family. Brothers and sisters, three children, two girls and a boy. Our son is a beekeeper so we have lots of beeee stories.
Just so you know. The Cardinal is the most popular state bird, representing seven of the fifty states. The runner-up, with six states is the western meadowlark.
